constant spasm and pain

my son is now a quad due to gun shot to the c1 c2 area of the spine. it has been 2yrs and 1yr since the bullet was removed. there is more sensination feeling through out his body. other than pt is there any other options to help things improve. how do we sign up for up and coming studies
