OK...so I have insomnia and I'm searching youtube...dangerous...

Anyway, I don't think we have a sappy love song thread in the Movies & Music Forum...what a shame...;)

Soooooo, post one of your favorite love songs, and tell us why it is a favorite for you...and can we please keep it clean enough so that this doesn't end up in "members only"?

This is one of my favorites because it symbolizes liberation for me...when I decided not to fight my feelings anymore and finally burst through the closet door...:mega:

Two of mine. Old, I know, but they were something from my past. First one is from the time I was still happily married with my first love. The second one is at time when that dream marriage was coming to an end. Listened to them so many times but the second one I played for a long time after the break-up. Okay, I'm getting mushy here. Thanks Danine. For the thread I mean. ;) Sorry I hadn't seen it before.

I love that song gurly, and learned to play it on the guitar just last year.

The hardest song for me to listen to. Played it on repeat for a whole weekend after my first post SCI relationship ended. A few months later it came on in a bar when I was with her (still friends) and she said it was one of her favourite sad songs. I didn't know before.
