my prolactin levels have been high for over 2 years and now in the 80's were in the 50's 2 years ago and slowly rising.
had a mri done 2 years ago looking for a pituitary tumour , at that time showed negative.
went for another MRI this week, but forgot about spinal cord stim. so have to reschedule to do a cat scan.
anyone else have this issue and what were your side effects?
i understand that a lot of meds including narcotics can raise one's prolactin levels. the endo Doctor i just started treatment with said there is not a lot of research or knowledge on what elevated prolactin does in men.
i started a prolactin lowering med carbegoline this week, so hopefully that will take control of the situation and hopefully help with all the energy focus, problems i have been having for over two years and get me off a lot of the other meds.
