Is there is a such thing as a laptop-like mouse pad that can be used with a regular pc?

You talking about having a keyboard for the desktop computer that has a touchpad or a trackball on it like the laptop does? There are some available, Google touchpad keyboard or trackball keyboard and that should give you some ideas.

If you use a moth stick, track pads usually won't work, but they are good otherwise.
