Ive notice since ive started Lyrica last week, 75mg 2x daily that I have edema (swelling) in my legs, its not too bad but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Will this go away as my body gets used to it? Or should I stop it immediately? thanks.

I'm not sure, but I'd suggest reporting it to your doctor right away.

Mine swell awfully. Big as a grizzly bears butt, seems like at times. Not sure if it's all from lyrica, diabetes, sci, or the fact I'm in the chair 15-18 hrs a day.

I switched from gabapentin to lyrica and already have swelling in extremities. It became much worse when taking lyrica.

I too experience major leg swelling. Mainly in my feet and calves is the biggest spot. Mine is not all the time though so I wonder if it is the Lyrica? I take 150 mg X 2 times a day. I have noticed a definite decrease in the stabbing, burning, pain so beneficial in the end I guess. Not all too crazy about stopping taking it though. See other posts regarding withdrawls. NOT a pleasant situation apparently. I am hopeful for upcoming surgery to assist in if not totally getting off many drugs, I can at least decrease them significantly so I can think with a clear head. Being in a fog all day does nothing for concentration not to mention being able to formulate a conversation with someone without sounding like Jim from the show Taxi (if anyone remember's that show) showing my age with this memory...............LOL!!

yes, my son feet and especially his toes at first...we watched it carefully and it seems under control after a few months...it was like night and day in regards to getting off 3600 of nuerotin and he is now at 200x2 of lyrica...It did pack about 25 pounds on him too...Good luck with your upcoming surgery!

I had that problem right away, hands, feet, legs, then moved to my face, eyelids. I had to stop taking it and getting off it about killed me. lol It was heartbreaking since it worked so darn well. I cried...I felt human fora short time. I am on Cymbalta now, it works ok...
