i've tried search forums and other things like that, but don't come up w/ many osteopathic doctors. i'd like to find one to be my general practitioner, instead of an MD. i've just had no luck, anyone have any advice?
thanks!

This should give a list of California Osteopaths. I once got "osteopathic manipulative therapy" treatments and they were probably the most effective treatment modality I have ever had in treating pain and just generally feeling good w/SCI based on principles of osteopathic medicine
good luck

You might also try the American Osteopathic Society. Or if there is an osteopathic school in California, they may have a list of graduates who are practicing in the area.
We have one here in Philadelphia, so it is fairly common to see DO's practicing in this area.
