I was wondering if any tech savvy concertgoers have some tricks to grabbing tickets. It seems that many people have figured out ways around life nation.com and Ticketmaster -- by using different computer programs and interlinks.

This may not be the right forum to post these questions -- but does anyone have any trick to getting tickets that sell out within 20 minutes. I tried desperately yesterday to get myself some Phish tickets -- no luck with livenation and today some boss tickets. the demand for accessible seating seems on par with able-bodied seating and I'm wondering if it's better just to go after normal seating and working it from there. Any advice?

Always contact the venue you want to go to before tickets go on sale. Go to Ticketmaster and see if they have a number to reach for disabled seating. I always make sure the venue keeps my information in their computer so I don't waste time while tickets are being sold.

I got a great trick that worked for me when I got World Series tickets (Colorado) But I will not give it away it is much to valuable. If you PM me I might tell you especially if you are not from Colorado but then again that does not matter because you can purchase tickets from any state.

Always check with the venue and see if accessible tickets are purchased through them or ticket master. if it is the venue then it is easy to call and get tickets. I like the Pepsi center here in Denver they let me purchase up to 8 tickets for some events so I take 8 friends if they are willing to chip in for my ticket, if they want great seats. I also have some friends who if they want to go to a show they call me and buy my ticket as well.

You can't get tix for accessible seating before they go on sale.. esp. thru Ticketmaster. The general public has figured out how to call and get these seats. Ticketmaster has internet presales but I got in touch with a supervisor with them and they said for accessible seats you have to call when they go on sale to the public. I just got my Nickelback seats last Sat. and got thru at 10 a.m. but stayed on hold for 18 mins before getting someone!! I thought for sure that I was gonna get screwed but got my usual section and seats.. :) Without them needing no verification on disability, it's hard to get great seats for big shows. Smaller venues may be able to sell tix earlier...?

Thanks for your thoughts guys. Ticketmaster has been decent to me in the past, but with the new conglomerate of Livenation- everything is kind of up in the air and nebulous. I have a feeling that scalpers are on to accessible ticket request lines. I usually go to the box office for certain venues -- but the music industry is changing.

I know in certain states scalping is illegal, but not in Massachusetts.

Good to hear that you got Nickelback tix-- I think I will follow your lead and try to get in touch with the supervisor of my local outdoor amphitheater.

Is that the Pepsi Center's policy? I've never been able to get more than one seat for myself and a companion. I'm in Boston -- so no competition here.
