not working

ii bought a wireless logiteck headset to use w/ vista voice it seems that the internal microphone of the computer seems to be doing the listening for the voice recognition.

When I go to test the computer headset microphone, it is not recognized. Now there seems to be in red light on the headset for charginf.....I'll charge it again.

I went to the logitech site thinking perhaps it's a vista issue but saw nada. I just wanna talk and have the damn thing type..........
ugh......

Hi, Liz.

Which wireless Logitech headset did you purchase? Is it Bluetooth? I am using a wireless Plantronics CS50-USB headset and I had to go through the microphone setup for Dragon and MacSpeech Dictate. There could be several possibilities as to why your wireless Logitech headset is not working. It may not be compatible with Vista's SR, or there could be something wrong with the headset itself. My Plantronics headset has a red light where it docks for holding or recharging. I have Vista but I have not used the speech recognition in quite a while. I would think that there would be a selection for the wireless headset (make and model) when you go through the microphone setup. I will take a look at Vista's SR tomorrow to refresh my memory.
