Steven - This is brilliant! Thank you for your hard work.
I just timed how long it took me to complete every name on the list, and it took about 10 minutes - a very productive 10 minutes, IMO!!

Steven, great job!
I wonder if we should copy this over to the 'Cure' forum, the response might be better?
Thoughts?

Steven, sent everything out this a.m. to all members, and all went through AOK; I'm getting confirmation replies back now. Again, great work!

Marmalady,
I made a slight switch which was up for a few hours that caused some problems. Any messages that were sent that didn't get the "Arggggh" response went through correctly. Everything works now, though. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
Are you getting canned responses or ones that actually respond to your issue? If they are responding to your issue, what are they saying?
[note: this form letter will be disabled Tuesday morning, as it's relevance will be over]

Hi, Steven, I'm getting canned email responses (I didn't post my address, just my email) saying that due to security reasons ???? they couldn't email a direct response, but if I had posted a mailing address, they would write. Oh, well.
I'd like to hear from the community, how many of us followed through with this?

I got a few canned responses, but I strongly believe numbers are noticed. If enough of the visitors use this, it can work. Letters will be posted well in advance next time, with more features -- like a "Click Here for all" button. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

'Autoresponses' are normal when you send an email to congressional offices. If you want a response you must include your snail mail address. Politicians have been warned that it is too easy for someone to mess with an email reply and they could wind up being quoted as saying things they never said. It's in the yearly security update they get from what I understand...
And yes, I followed through. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Good job Steven you made it almost to easy:)

Thanks guys. I can duplicate this procedure for whatever matter comes up in the future that may need our attention and/or support. I figure that I am paying for a domain, so I may as well use it for something. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
If anyone has any suggestions for improvements, please feel free to let me know.
