Hi
Does anyone here know of any care-giver referral services in India? My fiancee is T7 complete 10 months post. I live in a different city, and she's staying with her parents now. They currently get "home nurses" through red-cross and other orgs, but none of them have any experience caring for SCIs and don't stick on for long and we are having to get new "nurses" every month on average. Pretty difficult for her mom sometimes, and naturally frustration and depression sets in and there are fights.
Are there any Indians in the forum who get outside help?

Thanks much
Raj

hi iyeraj,

I'm a DA and also have the same problem, my mom is my are giver. there was an ad in the times of india of a org which provides help for patients in Bangalore, i'm not sure if they are trained SCI caregivers. i'll try to dig it out & post it. in the meantime why don't you try the Spastic Society of India, maybe, they'll help.

All the best,

Bill
