While it certainly is preferable to see a mental health professional face-to-face, some people are home-bound or live in very rural areas with limited access to mental health services.
Some psychologists do telephone counseling or internet counseling. I had our psychologist check out this internet resource and they appear to be legitimate, alhtough I cannnot vouch for them in any other way. It is something that some may want to take advantage of:
