i'm trying to install dns 8 on a new computer w/xp, which involves installing versions 5, 6, & 7 because 8 is an upgrade. I'm unable to install ver7 because it deems my system too small in spite of the processor speed and ram being many times the software's requirements.
suggestions?

U should send dragon an email asking them for copy of full version tell them u have 4 diff versions they might give it to you software companies are cool like that sometimes. It might be better for you just to buy full version and redo your language files the software gets better and better and voices change.

Indeed, I would call them. As long as your copies are registered they should offer a full version CD but it may cost you $25 (at least that is what it cost me when I called for the exact same problem a year or two ago).

I was told the cost for the full version is $30. Still a good deal. Just make sure you remove all of Dragon from your computer before you install the full version. I had trouble removing a part of DNS 7 and I needed to download a dedicated tool.

When I purchased the Dragon 9.0 upgrade, I could not get the software to install. You are allowed one free call to their tech support, and it turned out that I had a bad CD. Nuance (I asked) sent me a full version of DNS 9.0 at no charge.

Good luck.
