If the thought of flying excites then have a look at the above site. Based in the UK, the charity enables those with a variety of disabilities the opportunity to learn to fly. There are similar organisations within the US.

If you want any more info. please email me.

Have fun - all things are possible if you want them enough!

For those of you who think that flying is daring, the following pictures may suggest a new level of daring:

Those pictures were TOOOOOO GOOOOOOD, I would give ten years of my life for 1 jump, but I can't afford it. Do you know of any place here in South Florida where I could go volunteer or whatever to jump?

Most commercial sky diving schools offer tandem sky diving for people with disabilities. You do have to pay for it (no volunteers accepted), have some training, and sign a waiver. Call around to sky diving schools in your area, or check with the recreation therapy department in any large SCI center in your area.

I contacted a place here in S Florida (1-800-sky-dive) there answer was that it's too risky and that being disabled shouldn't do it. (landing when windy=broken bones) Of course I don't believe so, and still looking for a place, any suggestions? http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/cool.gif
