Any is using or heard of Ziconotide for our pain problem?

I had a really bad experience with it but back when I tried it, it was necessary to have exhausted all options including putting the catheter up of my point of injury. I've recently found out that that was the root cause for the problems I was having and that it works fairly well if the pump catheter is lower in your spinal cord. Make sure your doctor knows what he or she is talking about and has plenty of experience with it. The drug runs about 16k a refill if I am correct. I looked into the possibility of the drug. I have a baclofen pump and you cannot mix meds in the pump. My oral dose of baclofen would be crazy high. The drug does not work on all. My neurologist was one of the investigators. He said the problem with most was titration was too fast in the study. Good Luck and share your experience.
