Despite my limited knowledge and learning trouble, I have a triple boot system here (if I understood how to use the OSes and utilities, I'd be dangerous) of eComStation, XP, and Ubuntu (I'm trying to learn a little Linux - I seek to avoid Windows, which is why eCS aka OS2 is my primary OS.) When Ubuntu 8.04 came out, I upgraded from 7.10. Upon booting, my desktop was partly off screen. My monitor, Viewsonic VX922, doesn't have automatic adjustment. If I manually adjust the screen, will that mess up the display of my other OSes?

Thanks,

My linux is bad too, but it might more be the driver issue, and/or setup.

Just remember 8.04 is brand new, so could still be buggy.
